  • This course will be held over 3 weeks on Thursdays starting 26 March 2020, 6:00 – 7:30 pm at the Preston Patrick Memorial Hall, Crooklands. All dogs love sniff and search games! This is your introduction to how amazing your dog’s nose and sense of smell is! This includes sniffing games to play at home plus when out and about. The searching games are great to help improve your connection when out on walks and can also be helpful to build confidence. This is also a great activity for active and busy dogs that would benefit from mental stimulation and need a job to do. The very first steps to scent work are also included so you can see if this might be an activity you want to take further. The course is suitable for any age, breed and ability of dog! The cost is £54.

  • This workshop will be held over 3 weeks on Tuesdays, starting 31st March 2020, 7:30 – 8:30 pm, at the Preston Patrick Memorial Hall, Crooklands. Dogs love a puzzle and a challenge! It’s a great way to build their confidence and connection with you as you work through the brain games and fun activities together. You’ll get ideas for providing your dog with valuable mental stimulation and enrichment for your dog and know how to make you dog’s life more  interesting and enjoyable. A enriched life makes for a calmer, happier and more fulfilled canine companion. Channel your dog’s natural instincts in appropriate ways to help avoid behaviour problems. Try out various fun challenges and creative games with toys and food including food dispensing toys and food puzzles. Lots of ideas for indoor activities when no walks, as well as for fun activities on walks to help keep your dog

  • This is a 3 week course held on Thursdays, from 16 April 2020 6 – 7 pm at Preston Patrick Memorial Hall, Crooklands, LA7 7NR. This course is for puppies under 6 months of age. This course is valuable to help with your puppies continued socialisation and familiarisation with different aspects of their world. The puppies will build confidence with interacting with different objects in the environment. Fun activities will include walking over different surfaces, putting two paws or four paws on, going under, over, through or in different objects. Dogs love doing this sort of activity and it’s great for building confidence, body awareness and coordination. Busy and lively puppies also benefit from learning focus, calmness and steadiness with the activities. Working with your puppy to build the skill and confidence with the movements and objects also helps your connection together. There will be the opportunity to work through

  • This is a 3 week course held on Thursdays, from 16 April 2020,  7.30 – 8.30 pm at Preston Patrick Memorial Hall, Crooklands. Dogs love being active and getting physical! This  course gives you and your dog an introduction to this new popular activity for dogs. It is all about dogs learning to interact with different objects in the environment by putting two paws or four paws on, going under, over, through or in, plus many other manoeuvres! Dogs love doing this sort of activity and it’s great for building confidence, body awareness and coordination. Busy and lively dogs benefit from learning focus, calmness and steadiness with the activities. Working with your dog to build the skill and confidence with the movements and objects also helps your connection together. There will be the opportunity to work through the levels of the Dog Parkour UK scheme and earn yourselves titles and

  • Puppy classes

    Puppy course starts on Sunday, 19th April 2020, 2:45 – 3:45 pm at the Castle Street Center, Kendal.   Give your puppy a good start with a variety of activities and advice for effective socialization and introduction to training and living in the human world. This is a 6 week course and costs £84.

  • Junior Dog course starts  on Sunday, 19th April 2020, 4:00 – 5:00 pm at the Castle Street Center, Kendal.   This course helps take you through the more difficult adolescent phase when your dog’s response to you is not so keen as they start to get more confident and interested in other things! Learn how to teach your dog to respond to you in the presence of distractions. It also includes valuable techniques to build self- control in a variety of situations including ‘wait’ and ‘leave’ plus how to avoid and manage chase problems. This course is suitable for dogs over 18 weeks of age. Your dog does not need to be of any particular level of training as all advice is individualised to each dog’s needs. We also have a Social Walk on one Saturday morning during the course to help put training into practice in real life! This is
