  • When: Thursday 19 Sept 6- 7.30 pm, Where: Preston Patrick Memorial Hall, Crooklands, LA7 7NR This one off session will give you a sample of some of the activities from the various ‘Fun Activity’ Courses that we run, and help you decide which ones to take further in the future. It will also be just great fun in itself while spending quality time with your dog. The session includes activities from the Puzzle Paws Workshop, Super Sniffers Workshop and the new Parkour for Dogs Workshop! It will include puzzles and other brain games, sniff and search games plus physical interactions with obstacles in the environment. All activities will provide your dog with valuable mental stimulation and help build your connection by working through the various challenges together. It will be a whole lot of fun too! Refreshments will be available. The session is suitable for ALL ages of puppies and

  • Puppy classes

    Puppy course starts  on Thursday 10 October 2019, 6:00 – 7:00 pm at Preston Patrick Memorial Hall, Crooklands Give your puppy a good start with a variety of activities and advice for effective socialization and introduction to training and living in the human world. This is a 6 week course and costs £84.

  • This workshop will be held over 3 weeks on Thursdays, 17, 24 & 31 October 2019, between 7:15 – 8:15 pm, at the Preston Patrick Memorial Hall, Crooklands. All dogs love a puzzle and a challenge! It’s a great way to build their general confidence and connection with you as you work through the brain games and fun activities together. You’ll get ideas for valuable mental stimulation and enrichment for your dog and to know how to make you dog’s life more  interesting and enjoyable. An enriched life makes for a calmer, happier and more fulfilled canine companion. Channel your dog’s natural instincts in appropriate ways to help avoid behaviour problems. Try out various fun challenges and creative games with toys and food including food dispensing toys and food puzzles.     Puppy course starts on Sunday, 27th October 2019, 2:45 – 3:45 pm at the Castle Street Center, Kendal.  Give your puppy a good start with a variety of activities and advice for effective socialization and introduction to training and living in the human world. This is a 6 week course and costs £84.

  • Junior Dog course starts  on Sunday, 27th October 2019, 4:00 – 5:00 pm at the Castle Street Center, Kendal.   Effectively progressing your older puppies training in different situations and with distractions, plus coping with the adolescent phase. This is a 6 week course and costs £84.

  • Puppy classes

    Puppy course starts on Tuesday 5th November 2019, 6:00 – 7:00 pm at Preston Patrick Memorial Hall, Crooklands. Give your puppy a good start with a variety of activities and advice for effective socialization and introduction to training and living in the human world. This is a 6 week course and costs £84.

  • This course starts on Tuesday 5th November 2019, 7:15 – 8:15 pm at the Preston Patrick Memorial Hall, Crooklands.   Effectively progressing your older puppy’s training in different situations and with distractions, plus coping with the adolescent phase. This is a 6 week course and costs £84.

  • This is a 3 week course held on Thursdays, from 7th November,  7.15 – 8.15 pm at Preston Patrick Memorial Hall, Crooklands. The course gives you and your dog an introduction to this new popular activity for dogs. It is all about dogs learning to interact with different objects in the environment by putting two paws or four paws on, going under, over, through or in, plus many other manoeuvres! Dogs love doing this sort of activity and it’s great for building confidence, body awareness and coordination. Busy and lively dogs benefit from learning focus, calmness and steadiness with the activities. Working with your dog to build the skill and confidence with the movements and objects also helps your connection together. There will be the opportunity to work through the levels of the Dog Parkour UK scheme and earn yourselves titles and certificates if you want. Or just come along

  • This workshop will be held over 3 weeks on Thursdays, 28 November, 5 & 12 December, between 7:15 – 8:45 pm at the Preston Patrick Memorial Hall, Crooklands. All dogs love sniff and search games! This is your introduction to how amazing your dog’s nose and sense of smell is! This includes sniffing games to play at home plus when out and about. The searching games are great to help improve your connection when out on walks and can also be helpful to build confidence. This is also a great activity for active and busy dogs that would benefit from mental stimulation and need a job to do. The very first steps to scent work are also included so you can see if this might be an activity you want to take further. The course is suitable for any age, breed and ability of dog!
